ZKAY vs SELLY THE RAPPER took place on **PenGame Academy 2025**. The host introduces it as ZK’s debut and says both battlers need to work because the room energy is low.
SELLY THE RAPPER goes first.
SELLY opens with a confident first round. He attacks ZK’s music, saying ZK made a track called “Again” and nobody played it again. He says ZK sounds awkward when rapping, should get a job, would make a good bin man, looks unclean, is not a wordsmith, and calls him a lover-boy rapper. The writing is not elite, but the directness and jokes are enough to take the opener.
ZK replies with a Harry Potter / Voldemort angle, saying SELLY looks like Voldemort and may not even have a home. He attacks SELLY for sofa surfing, coming from Plymouth, making bad music, having a bad haircut, looking older than his age, and having bad breath. The round has jokes, but some of the humour does not land cleanly.
SELLY’s second round is very short and underdeveloped. He calls ZK stinky, says he needs a writing course, says his face annoys him, and says he is going to channel that through the pen. It is not a strong round.
ZK’s second is also messy. He brings jokes about SELLY’s mum, clothes, smell, hair, shoes, girlfriend and life situation. He has confidence and crowd-chat, but the host later says he did not enjoy the round either. This is why the second is best marked as a no-clear round.
SELLY’s third is the decisive round. He attacks ZK as a copy-and-paste artist, a UK crackhead version of Blueface, and says ZK tried to give advice despite having bad songs himself. He also uses Dartmoor, Ramsgate, Peckham, BBC and breathman-style lines. He messes up slightly at the end but still gets enough out to win the round.
ZK’s third falls apart more clearly. He starts by responding to SELLY’s mum angle and brings family, abandonment, sexuality and music insults, but the round loses control and he drops/stumbles badly. The host says this costs him the battle.
At the end, the host says **Round 1 goes to Selly**, **Round 2 was not enjoyable from either**, and **Round 3 goes to Selly because ZK dropped the mic**. The official host winner is **SELLY THE RAPPER**.
