ZANOTTI vs SCOTTY took place on **PenGame Academy 2025**. The host introduces both battlers and says the energy in the room is right. ZANOTTI is chosen to go first.
ZANOTTI opens with high energy. He attacks SCOTTY’s look, name, mum, family, shoes, money, dad and lack of “buzz.” He brings a lot of aggression and presence, but the writing is loose and some of the punches do not connect cleanly. The strongest part is the energy, not the pen.
SCOTTY responds with a much sharper first round. He attacks ZANOTTI as a Cornish lad forcing a London style, says he is more suited to hens and chickens than rap, and uses farmer/farmer’s market imagery throughout. He also attacks ZANOTTI’s persona, claiming the image does not match the accent or the bars. SCOTTY’s first is cleaner, better structured and more direct.
ZANOTTI’s second starts with a gimmick phone-call intro from “Scott’s mum,” saying she packed sandwiches and that SCOTTY only has a one-in-ten chance of winning. It is funny and shows creativity. He then attacks SCOTTY for busking, low Spotify listeners, his Turkish dad, kebab-shop imagery, height, mum, and looking like an abused dog. He has a moment where he makes the room think he dropped the mic, but the host later says he tricked everyone and did not actually drop.
SCOTTY’s second is very strong. He attacks ZANOTTI’s pre-battle confidence, perm, look, age, mental age, Italian name, lack of culture, fake image and lack of authenticity. The “counterfeit Italiano” angle is one of the best angles in the battle. SCOTTY makes the round feel personal and controlled.
ZANOTTI’s third uses a chef/food scheme because SCOTTY is connected to cooking. He says he will cook him, fry him, use relish, ketchup, potatoes, fries, and kitchen imagery. It is his most structured round and has some decent ideas, but SCOTTY has already built a clear lead.
SCOTTY’s third closes the battle cleanly. He reveals ZANOTTI’s real name as Adam, says he has energy but not talent, needs therapy not gassing, should stop rapping about trapping, and flips the Italian colours with green, white and red. He also uses Anakin, Trappy, nursery rhymes and “stay off this platform” angles. It is direct, controlled and confirms the 3-0.
At the end, the host says the battle is an easy call and gives it to **SCOTTY 3-0**. He says SCOTTY had the better bars and gives him an **8/10**. ZANOTTI is praised for energy and enthusiasm but told the bars need serious improvement. He is given the “letter after C,” meaning a **D-level grade**, and placed in the bubble for whether he should get another chance.
Official host winner: **SCOTTY**.
