RIZZY RAPS goes first.
RIZZY opens with a round aimed at ZOELLZ’s lack of substance, image, face, name and style. He calls ZOELLZ’s bars dead, says he looks like a zombie, uses Voldemort and Chamber of Secrets imagery, and attacks his confidence and fashion. The round has ideas, but it feels slightly nervy and not fully clean.
ZOELLZ responds with more energy and directness. He attacks RIZZY’s boring flow, low streams, age, lack of ratings, auntie/family support, and claims RIZZY is nearly 40 but still not progressing. He also uses “lockdown rapper” and sexual/bragging angles. ZOELLZ’s delivery feels more confident and gives him a strong start.
RIZZY’s second is his best round. He breaks down the letters in ZOELLZ’s name, using the two Zs and two Ls to call him a zoo, asleep, boring and self-taught. He then attacks ZOELLZ as a lockdown rapper, says his 5,000 followers do not match his comments, and questions his Spotify listeners. This is RIZZY’s clearest concept and likely his winning round.
ZOELLZ’s second keeps the pressure up but is less clean. He says he does not see RIZZY as competition, calls him a whitewash, says PenGame should have given him a challenge, and attacks RIZZY’s fanbase, size and style. He has moments, but some repetition weakens the round.
RIZZY’s third returns to a hook-style structure, repeatedly demanding respect and saying he will spin ZOELLZ every round. He attacks ZOELLZ’s lack of songs, lack of flaws, writing, tracks and amateur status. It has structure, but the delivery starts to feel less controlled.
ZOELLZ’s third is the clearest final-round closer. He attacks RIZZY’s long grind with no real progress, says he has been tagging idols in freestyles since 2019, and says tagging Rap Game, Frost, Cash and PenGame did not work. He then brings the Uber-pickup/ETA angle and closes with more confidence than RIZZY.
At the end, the host says RIZZY had moments but did not seem to get everything out how he wanted. He says there were nerves and stumbles. ZOELLZ is praised for getting his material out, having energy and moving directly. The host gives the battle to **ZOELLZ 2-1**.
