PENNO vs TRICKYY took place on **PenGame Academy 2025** in Manchester at **The Clint Store**. TRICKYY is introduced as someone who has been seen before on PenGame North, while PENNO is returning after a previous shaky performance.
PENNO goes first.
PENNO opens with a much better showing than his previous Academy appearance. He attacks TRICKYY’s age, look, partner, family, child/paternity angle, and battle record. He brings a “Trickyy enough like plastic” opener, a Vinny from Brassic comparison, Tiffany Smith material, and lines about TRICKYY being in his 30s but not progressing. He has one moment that sounds like a possible stumble, but he catches it and works it into the performance.
TRICKYY responds with a strong first round. He opens with “fresh, no keys, like a start and stop,” then attacks PENNO’s partner, hygiene, previous choke, PenGame history, and appearance. He uses Mortal Kombat, Shang Tsung, Fatality, Goonies/Sloth and “who ate all the pies” style imagery. It is a solid response and makes the battle competitive immediately.
PENNO’s second round is more aggressive. He attacks TRICKYY’s breath, losses, teeth, son, drug references, age, Dog Squad name, relationship, and family. He also uses equal rights/equal lefts and says he is strapped with a pen. It is a sharper round than his first and keeps him in contention.
TRICKYY’s second keeps the battle close. He continues attacking PENNO’s partner, says even his dead friends get more attention than PENNO, calls himself the sensei, says PENNO is an incel, and brings prostitute, Bonnie Blue, Dido and food/weight imagery. TRICKYY’s delivery is confident and his insults land, even if some sections are broad.
PENNO’s third is the round that likely edges the battle for him. He says TRICKYY has been rapping for years but nobody listens, attacks his age, debt, teeth, drug use, body, and says he should have got his teeth done when he went Turkey. He also uses Mylar bag, Chris Rock and TikTok references. It is direct and lands as a redemption closer.
TRICKYY’s third is also strong. He says he searched PENNO online and found nothing, references PENNO’s previous clash and choke, says Marcel spun him, and attacks his lifestyle, weight, eating habits, lack of exercise and ability as an MC. He repeats “real MC” to hammer home the point, but the repetition is a little overdone.
After the battle, the host says both battlers stumbled but recovered well, and that most people might not have even noticed. He nearly calls it a tie, then takes input from the team and gives the edge to **PENNO**. The host praises PENNO’s redemption from his previous appearance and gives both battlers **C grades**.
