Mario Kart, mushrooms and Wario keep the gaming scheme connected while passed turns racing into defeat.

Sensei, learning, pupils and senpai all remain inside the Japanese teacher-and-student hierarchy.

Round 2 — Dual Exhaust

"Your face is eighty-two percent nostrils, coming like dual exhausts on a Vauxhall. Through them holes I can see your tonsils."

Two nostrils become a car's dual exhaust system before their exaggerated size supposedly exposes the throat.

Round 2 — Gospel and Fish Scale

"When he inhales, this brother sings gospel. You'll be the worst coke dealer on the planet — if he inhaled around fish scale, it'd be gone before we could bag it."

The large inhale becomes both vocal power and the accidental disappearance of cocaine known as fish scale.

Round 3 — Orbit

"You ain't no threat, blud — I'll lap around this prick like a planet does orbit."

Lapping an opponent becomes the repeated path of a planet travelling in orbit.

Round 3 — Raw Fish and Norbit

"Why do your clothes smell like nothing but raw fish? Why do you look like you wanna be Norbit?"

Raw fish and Norbit continue the internal sound pattern while combining a hygiene attack with a film-character comparison.

Round 3 — Cartoon Fantasy

"He watches cartoons sat in his bed. His fantasies are young girls, old men — a catastrophe that ain't making sense."

JM turns ANBU's anime interest into a deliberately disturbing character attack built around the contrast in ages.

Round 3 — Never Had One

"Talk about my girl, but you couldn't have one. Talk about my dad, but you never had one. Talk bad in this rap, but you never had one."

The repeated never-had-one ending turns ANBU's family angles back onto his own relationships and credibility.

Round 3 — 4-4-2

"What's that tone that you're talking to? Switch formations, 4-4-2."

Switching tone becomes switching a football formation, with 4-4-2 supplying the tactical reset.

Round 3 — E3

"I've been trying to make threes like I was up in E3."

Making threes becomes a competitive scoring claim while E3 supplies the gaming-event reference.

Round 1 — Jobless Moron

"For this jobless moron, it's just murder — JM is dead and I'm making it clear that I'm killing the learner."

JM's initials become jobless moron, while learner positions him beneath the self-styled Sensei.

Round 1 — Neck and Disconnect

"In this game, if I wanna get ahead, I'ma aim for his neck then disconnect."

Get ahead and aim for the neck form a beheading image, while disconnect describes the separation.

"When you die, get eyes like a resident in Beijing — left on the wall like a Renaissance painting."

The internal sound carries the threat into an image of JM displayed permanently on a wall as art.

The birth cord is turned into the weapon in a deliberately dark opening to the Joseph scheme.

JM's real name Joseph combines with stalling to form Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.

"Parabellum — you better let John Wick."

John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum supplies the film title, while let John wick turns the name into an action.

Round 2 — Knives Out

"Say your sins if I'm taking the walk; I bring Knives Out on Joseph Gordon-Levitt."

Joseph Gordon-Levitt extends JM's real-name scheme while Knives Out provides the murder-mystery film reference.

Round 2 — Niko Bellic

"Can't reign with a Roman — Niko Bellic."

"Margs is looking like G.I. Jane. I got a gun like a G.I. Joe. When you was with them sheep on the farm, it sounded like E-I-E-I-O."

G.I. Jane and G.I. Joe share the military initials before Old MacDonald's E-I-E-I-O supplies the farm rhyme.

Round 2 — C-section

"I'm doing up another C-section. Find your sister and choke her out, see blood like we're in a C-section. Take your kids to the zoo, hope they drown in the sea section. If I lose, there's fans that I've got a C-section."

C-section shifts through childbirth, seeing blood, a zoo's sea section and a section of fans, sustaining one sound across four meanings.

Round 3 — Nun with a Gun

"Trying to beat me with all your flows is like going to church and a nun has a gun tucked."

The unexpected armed nun makes JM's attempted victory as contradictory as violence inside a church.

Round 3 — Marvel and Vision

"It's a marvel you got this far, and I wonder if you have a vision of losing."

Marvel and Vision reference the comics character while wonder adds another superhero-associated word.

Round 3 — Shogun and Putin

"They call me the Shogun. Know that you're flowing just for the moment — you're nothing like Putin."

Shogun and Putin supply ruler imagery, contrasting ANBU's lasting command with JM's temporary flow.

Round 3 — Champions League Table

"You're like Monaco on the table of the World Champions League."

ANBU converts the tournament into a football table and places JM in a low or unfavoured position.

Round 3 — Ramadan and Eid

"His mum couldn't eat — me and Ramadan — so she went away into Eid. We took a little picture; I told her, 'Say cheese.'"

Fasting during Ramadan resolves in Eid, before the celebration becomes a photograph and cheese cue.

Round 3 — Overeem

"I step with the beam, mess with your team — I buck up like Overeem."

Former combat-sports champion Alistair Overeem supplies the fighting comparison and completes the beam/team rhyme.
