The result below is therefore an independent LOTA review.
DOMI DUSK's first opened by calling RP racist and turning the R in his name into the accusation. He then attacked RP's communication with women through a previous CHAR.B battle and a disputed explicit photo. Being tall while the image was small, blurring the picture and saying the picture was simply RP formed the central visual scheme. RP became 'really pissed,' while a red face and internal bleeding led into A&E. DOMI contrasted RP's six-foot-ten height with being unable to reach his level of pen. Tim Westwood, Waluigi without a moustache, a moth drawn to light, Lara Croft and a family tree of freaks closed the round. A factual interruption about the age of the person in the photo caused a restart, but DOMI's completed material is direct and varied.
RP's first addressed the racism accusation. He began with an insult in what he presented as DOMI's native language, then threatened decapitation like a praying mantis and compared DOMI's chance of winning with TRAPPY making a sandwich. Average performances, a casket and hellfire moved into DOMI practising juju and rolling with Shaitan. Cold handshakes, Ray-Bans, clothing and Islamic prayers followed. RP said he could not hate Islam because he had an Islamic name, then ended with bleeding, breaking the beat, suffering a major defeat and DOMI creating enemies. It is a strong response, though DOMI's photo, height and appearance construction edges the first.
DOMI's second asked whether he and RP were dating the same woman, then revealed the guest as RP's mother. Shared intimacy, cleaning the bedroom and leaving a mess drove the opening. 'You are what you eat' made RP a bum, then DOMI argued eating him would make DOMI RP's mother. A supposed list of RP's achievements taking no time led into bringing a knife to a gun and comparing the distance between them with Earth and the sun. RP had not hurt, worked or murdered anyone, while DOMI threatened to burst him like rum being served. One Spotify listener, dry music, juju, a maternal stick and putting RP in a box like a goalkeeper completed the round.
RP's second was the battle's best sustained scheme. DOMI being close to metal led into coppers, grass and brass; mercury, lead, MDMA and gold followed. Zinc became washing in a sink or bath, while squeezing iron meant taking creases from clothes. Chrome was rejected in favour of tin foil used for drugs, producing ten named metals. RP then attacked DOMI's clothes as worse than homeless rags, said he had returned focused after an earlier failure and repeatedly called him hopeless. Clothes in DOMI's homeland became a tyre around his shoulders. A wrestler's body, Champions League collecting bodies and a closing mother punch rounded out a decisive second.
DOMI's third opened with putting the pedal to the metal and refusing to stop during the season. Dust, coughing and wheezing led into treason, head tops, weather and a middle finger. A surprise meant arriving disguised as a ninja. Being knocked down like ginger, refusing to be a Sideman like Miniminter, burglary, turbulence and a KFC Zinger drove a rapid reference run. Hurdles, murder, Champions League drinks, heavyweights, lightweights, paper, relationships and anime followed. RP became a six-foot Peperami whose bean would be cooked like edamame, before DOMI closed by threatening to grant the final white person an N-word pass. The flow is polished but much of the round is less opponent-specific.
RP's third answered through money and direct research. Charity being larger than DOMI's punches led into taking off a belt like Michael Jackson's father. Gamma, katana and landing with fourteen Gs escalated the violence. A promo lip-lick became a llama, while charging and a charger followed. Returning to Ghana meant facing a mad palaver; DOMI going from Dusk to Dawn turned his name into time. RP referenced DOMI slurring against EDDFIRST and remixing EDDFIRST's verse after denying it. Ghana, Chad, Cameroon, Djibouti, Guinea and Egypt formed an African-nations passage before denial became the Nile. RP closed by using Urban Dictionary to redefine 'dummy' and return to the sexuality angle. The research and connected writing win the third.
