CV vs JSMIH took place on **PenGame Academy**, with the host opening by saying “class is in session” and reminding viewers that PenGame is looking for apprentices in motion graphics, camera work, editing, scriptwriting and sound.
The host has fun with JSMIH’s name, asking what all the letters spell, before shortening it to “JS” for the battle.
JSMIH goes first.
JSMIH opens with a steady first round. He attacks CV’s Instagram, says CV is trying to ride his wave, compares CV’s head to E.T., and says he has heard CV’s songs and is not impressed. The round is not explosive, but it is complete and direct enough for an Academy-level opening.
CV’s first round has a few cleaner ideas. He flips JSMIH into “JSMid,” calls him a pacifist, says his bars do not hurt, and attacks his lack of recent Instagram posts. CV also says the V in his name stands for victory. The material has some structure, but the delivery is monotone and does not fully land.
JSMIH’s second is better than his first. He attacks CV for coming from Yorkshire, says CV came all the way to London to lose, mocks his teeth, calls him a freebie, and says if he loses this battle he is leaving. It is not highly complex, but it stays on target.
CV’s second round is short and weaker. He asks whether anyone rates JS, calls him a washed-up pagan, a neek and mediocre, then stumbles out quickly. The round does not have enough weight to compete.
JSMIH’s third is rough but still more complete than CV’s third. He uses appearance insults, alien/Elmo imagery, social media/fan-count material and Krispy Kreme imagery. Some of the wording is crude and messy, but he keeps going and has enough material to close the round.
CV’s third starts with a good idea — attacking JSMIH’s Spotify monthly listeners — but he cuts the round short almost immediately. He does not do enough to take the round.
After the battle, the host says both battlers dropped the mic and both need to concentrate more. However, he makes the result clear: **JSMIH won the battle 3-0, even with the flops**. CV is told he needs more performance and less monotone delivery, though the host says there were bars there and offers him another chance in the Academy.
Official winner: **JSMIH**.
