ELZ and ZION met in the PenGame dungeon before the Champions League launch. ELZ chose to go first after the coin toss. The upload ends with viewers being asked to comment with their winner, but no completed tally or declared result is preserved. The result below is therefore an independent LOTA review.
ELZ's first was a sustained biblical concept built around ZION's name. Bearing witness and the birth of a post-Christmas lord led into forgiveness, Psalms, palms and turning the other cheek while bringing an arm. A spiritual awakening, Satan entering Zion, repentance and divine intervention continued the religious language. The hill ZION would die on became an icon and bygone sequence. David and Goliath needed one rock; Second Samuel gave way to Lazarus, Eli and a camera-presence rhyme. Moses parted a wave and Noah rode it. The Temple of David, a right hook, the boy who cried wolf, Israel, shells and commandments completed the battle's most coherent round.
ZION's first answered with aggression. Garden of Eden and disobedience preceded beating ELZ lyrically and physically. Burning his family home and extinguishing it became arson. Appearance and weight attacks used Kung Fu Panda, American food and cheeseburgers. Dark horse turned into Dark Force before Mace, lighting the place and a saber created a Star Wars sequence. Undertaker, a cane and tooth-fairy pie closed a lively but less connected response. ELZ takes the first through structure and opponent-name focus.
ELZ's second widened the references. Sonic produced gems and rings; Fantasia, Rizzle Kicks and leaving Jordan asleep followed. ZION's voice crack, flawed writing and numerical claims led into one friend's brain being worth five of his. A spinning right round left him upside down like Vecna. Grease and fried food preceded climbing ZION's chromosome count and dropping to his IQ. A spelled-out bored line, TLC, Robin Hood, pedigree, kings, bending the knee, samurai and Palestine completed another dense round.
ZION's second attacked ELZ's history and status. Leicester became one good season, then PenGame became Endgame and Avengers. A name that should carry value was contrasted with weight in ELZ's neck and stomach. Six years and fewer than five hundred followers became taking TikTok literally through a two-syllable fan count. Performing in prisons made the audience feel imprisoned. A George Floyd tribute put ZION's knee on ELZ's neck. ELZ's EP title prompted a parents-should-have-done-other-stuff punch. Family, beds, kryptonite, the big-boy table, diet, inconsistency and an Oompa Loompa closer followed. ZION has direct moments, but ELZ's technical density takes the second.
ELZ's third opened through M. Bison, then attacked ZION as someone only dangerous behind a keyboard. Needles and a sweatshop led into sanitizer cleaning a germ and an opponent with no meat being an appetiser. Equalizer, Jordan trying to be like Mike, Goofy, Harry being spare, dental care, elocution and imitating PASSIVE built the middle. Ozempic Games and a body bag reached the intended close, but ELZ lost the final line, openly admitted the drop and stopped.
ZION's third was his strongest and most strategic round. ELZ moved like a ghost on social media and had vision without commitment or firing neurons. Treating rap as a hobby led into class, Dobby and being comfortable in second place. Murder on My Mind invoked YNW Melly. A takeaway became taking ELZ's life and then the number of takeaways he wanted, feeding a future-diabetic angle. Academy status, loneliness, council-estate imagery and prior public criticism followed. ZION closed by saying he had learned from earlier battles and, directly after ELZ's drop, explained that this was why you do not choke in the third.
LOTA scores ELZ 2-1. ELZ takes round one with the battle's strongest sustained biblical construction and wins round two through the denser Sonic, Rizzle Kicks, Vecna, chromosome, spelling, Robin Hood and Palestine writing. ZION wins round three after ELZ drops, then lands the decisive social-ghost, hobby, Dobby, Melly, takeaway and no-choking closer.
