Official Battle Result
2MWAD vs RYNO was a hostile three-round clash built around homelessness, political identity, personal history and the question of what could be proved in the room. RYNO opened by acknowledging the expected homeless angle before attacking 2MWAD's stage persona and family. 2MWAD answered with the same lifestyle angle, then made it the spine of a much more direct character attack. Every personal claim in the battle is treated here as unverified performance material, not established fact.
RYNO's strongest writing came through extended sound patterns. His first round moved from needy, geeky, creepy, freaky and squeaky into shorter direct insults; his second used the Pen Zeppelin, lead, rock and roll and Stairway to Heaven sequence to join weapon imagery to a Led Zeppelin reference. He also attacked 2MWAD's music and image with the matching-tracksuit, roadman wedding and Jackson 5 comparison. The writing was dense, although beat and microphone problems forced several restarts.
2MWAD took a more angle-led route. Round one repeatedly returned to RYNO's living situation so the audience could follow the central attack. Round two shifted into politics and an allegation about RYNO, creating the battle's most serious exchange. RYNO anticipated it and began round three with a document he said showed that no charge had been brought. That live response became the clash's defining piece of theatre, while 2MWAD closed with animal wordplay, fruit references and a fingerprint/DNA sequence.
The hosts finished with a red- and blue-corner crowd call, but the surviving transcript does not clearly announce the count or margin. The official Gzone battle record lists 2MWAD as the winner, so the archive follows that result without inventing a round score. RYNO supplied the battle's most visible rebuttal and some of its densest rhyme chains; 2MWAD's clearer angles, more direct room communication and stronger close provide the best performance-based explanation for the recorded outcome.
RYNO was the more rhyme-dense MC, using rolling end sounds, grime cadence and long sequences that often prioritised momentum over isolated punches. His second-round Led Zeppelin construction was his cleanest technical passage, while his third-round document reveal was the battle's clearest live rebuttal. Repeated beat, microphone and restart problems disrupted the shape of his rounds, but he repeatedly recovered and addressed 2MWAD directly.
Lyrical Themes: Homelessness; stage persona; family attacks; grime credibility; music and image; political identity; rebuttal; legal-document prop; absent-father angle; board-game wordplay.
2MWAD built his performance around direct, repeatable angles. He used RYNO's living situation as a first-round refrain, changed focus to politics and personal allegations in round two, then closed with shorter wordplay clusters that were easier for the room to catch. Some passages were extremely personal and should not be read as factual reporting, but his clearer structures and audience-facing delivery helped him maintain the stronger overall impression recorded by Gzone.
Lyrical Themes: Homelessness; public image; right-wing politics; personal allegations; appearance; animal and fruit wordplay; money; police cooperation; DNA and fingerprints; Gzone status.
Rolling adjective chain
Needy, geeky, creepy, freaky and squeaky creates an immediately recognisable sound pattern. The accumulation gives RYNO's opening attack pace and performance clarity.
Pen Zeppelin sequence
Pen, lead, rock and roll and Stairway to Heaven connect writing or weapon imagery to Led Zeppelin. The references operate as one linked scheme rather than separate name-drops.
Document-led rebuttal
RYNO predicts the allegation, produces an NFA document and stops his written round to address it. Whatever the document's wider context, the timing makes it a genuine live answer to 2MWAD's preceding material.
Chess compression
Calling 2MWAD a pawn before threatening checkmate and removal from the board compresses hierarchy, defeat and disposal into one familiar game system.
Round-one refrain
The sleeping-bag, pond, change and stained-clothes passage is restarted and repeated after audio trouble. Repetition makes the homelessness angle the round's unmistakable organising idea.
Political angle control
Take Back Britain, racist, playlist, places and bailiff form a direct sequence in which political accusation, music criticism and housing pressure target the same public image.
Animal and fruit clusters
Snake, sheep, leader, lion, goat and ladybug create one compact field before bananas and pear-shaped begin another. The schemes make the third round more technically varied.
DNA and fingerprints close
DNA and fingerprints both belong to identification and forensic evidence. Placing them beside a snitch accusation gives the closing wordplay a coherent subject.
Round 1 โ Adjective barrage
"You're a needy, geeky, creepy, freaky, squeaky..."
Five linked adjectives repeat the long E sound. The accelerating accumulation gives RYNO an easy cadence to project at the start of the clash.
Round 1 โ Gulag to cemetery escalation
"Max already put a guy in the gulag. / This time I'll be your life in the cemetery."
Gulag represents imprisonment or removal in gaming language, while cemetery escalates that defeat into death imagery. RYNO frames himself as the next and more severe obstacle.
Round 1 โ Homeless-angle reversal
"Homeless jokes, that's the route that you wanna use? / I now live with your mam. / I'm your stepdad here, now sonning you."
RYNO predicts 2MWAD's central angle, then turns housing into a fictional family relationship. Stepdad and sonning share the same hierarchy: both position RYNO above him.
Round 1 โ Jigglypuff reference
"Listen to this song when I'm poking your mam. / I'm making her sing as she's Jigglypuff."
Jigglypuff is a Pokemon known for singing. RYNO uses that recognisable trait to turn an adult family insult into a pop-culture punch.
Round 1 โ Mortar rhyme chain
"Lyrical torture, I'll be letting off bombs like a mortar... mental disorder... son or daughter... mental trauma... poorer... slaughter."
Mortar, disorder, daughter, trauma, poorer and slaughter sustain a broad end-sound across threats, family material and self-description.
Round 2 โ Pen Zeppelin scheme
"Pen Zeppelin, lead gets him, and he'll rock and roll on the Stairway to Heaven."
Pen Zeppelin alters Led Zeppelin so pen represents writing and lead can mean ammunition. Rock and roll identifies the genre, while Stairway to Heaven names the song and completes the death image.
Round 2 โ Debit and bedding chain
"Your raps ain't shelling, your act is begging... your bank's in debit, you don't own bedding, your phone's no credit."
Shelling, begging and bedding keep the flow moving through music and homelessness. Debit and credit are financial opposites, tightening the money section.
Round 2 โ Bangers and mash flip
"I've heard him on Bangers and Mash. / You ain't clapping on machines with lead in... you've been served on a plate with letters."
Bangers can mean songs, guns or sausages; mash supplies the food pairing. RYNO moves from music to weapons and finally being served on a plate.
Round 2 โ Matching outfit visual
"Five dudes with the same tracksuit on, looking like a roadman wedding... a roadman Jackson 5."
A coordinated tracksuit becomes formal wedding dress, then five matching performers become the Jackson 5. Two visible group comparisons target 2MWAD's music video.
Round 3 โ Pawn and checkmate
"King of this game? You're more like a pawn. / Get checkmated and thrown off the board."
King and pawn establish opposite positions in chess. Checkmate ends the game, and throwing the piece away extends defeat into complete dismissal.
Round 1 โ Sleeping-bag refrain
"This battle rapper is currently homeless... he might catch this guy in a sleeping bag right next to the pond."
2MWAD states the central angle immediately and gives it a concrete image. Repetition after microphone trouble makes it function as the round's refrain.
Round 1 โ Change and bank pairing
"He begs for change by the bank, came to the clash with stains on his pants."
Change and bank share a money field, while bank can also describe the edge of the pond from the previous line. Pants supplies the rhyme and adds a physical detail.
Round 1 โ Bark and bite wordplay
"You're a puppy who barks, no bite. / Go apply for a job โ ruff, ruff. / You look rough; I guess rap's clearly not working."
Bark and bite use the phrase for empty threats. Ruff imitates a dog while rough changes the spelling and meaning, moving from animal noise into appearance and employment.
Round 2 โ Take Back Britain angle
"This right-wing man wants to take back Britain. / It ain't gonna happen, so face it... I could never have your songs on my playlist."
2MWAD makes RYNO's stated politics the subject, then links face it to playlist through the repeated ending. The criticism becomes a rejection of his public and musical identity.
Round 2 โ Places and bailiff chain
"Last five years you've been using your mates, sleeping in different places. / When you get home one day, all your furniture gets took by the bailiff."
Mates and places continue the housing angle, while the bailiff image escalates temporary sleeping arrangements into loss of possessions.
Round 2 โ Head and Shoulders phrase
"You chill on the corner with rocks and boulders... I'm about to take off your Head and Shoulders."
Rocks and boulders establish physical objects around the head-height image. Head and Shoulders is both a body pairing and a shampoo brand.
Round 3 โ Animal classification chain
"You're a snake... you're a sheep, no leader... it bugs me... think you're a goat... your ladybugs me."
Snake suggests betrayal, sheep a follower and GOAT the greatest. Bugs shifts from a verb into insects, then ladybugs joins lady and the insect name.
Round 3 โ Fruit idiom pairing
"This ain't no hearsay. / When you go bananas, things get a little pear-shaped."
Go bananas means become wild; pear-shaped means go wrong. Putting two established fruit idioms together makes the warning deliberately constructed.
Round 3 โ Fee and freelance sequence
"I rap for a fee, ain't gonna get a freelance. / If I splash this cup, you'll probably snitch โ then it'll be free Lance."
Freelance first means unpaid or independent work. On the repeat, 2MWAD splits the sound into free Lance, using RYNO's other name to suggest police cooperation could release him.
Round 3 โ DNA and fingerprints
"We all know you swing that way. / You like to put DNA โ that's why you're trying to fingerprint."
DNA and fingerprints are forms of forensic identification. 2MWAD combines them with leaving evidence, making the attack part sexual insinuation and part police-evidence wordplay.
The official Gzone record lists 2MWAD as the winner. The footage transcript contains a closing corner-by-corner crowd call, but it does not preserve a clear announced tally, margin or round score; this archive therefore does not manufacture one. RYNO's NFA document is indexed because it was physically introduced as a rebuttal during the clash, not because the archive has independently authenticated or interpreted it. All allegations and personal claims remain unverified battle material.
2MWAD โ official Gzone result
RYNO delivered the denser rhyme writing and the battle's defining rebuttal prop, particularly through the Pen Zeppelin scheme, the Bangers and Mash flip and his document-led opening to round three. 2MWAD was easier to follow across the full clash: his homelessness angle gave round one a clear centre, his political attack controlled the second-round narrative and his animal, fruit and forensic wordplay strengthened the close. Gzone records 2MWAD as the winner, but the available transcript does not support adding a precise vote or round score.
